Terms of Use
By accessing or using Xpectrum at beta.xpectrum.xyz, you agree to the following terms.No custodial services
Xpectrum is a non-custodial protocol. We do not hold, control, or have access to your wallet, private keys, or funds at any time. All transactions are executed on-chain by your wallet. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet and the consequences of any transactions you sign.NFTs and digital assets
NFTs traded on Xpectrum are digital tokens on the Octra blockchain. Xpectrum does not guarantee the value, liquidity, or utility of any NFT. Purchasing an NFT does not confer intellectual property rights in the underlying artwork unless explicitly granted by the creator.Creator content
Creators who deploy collections on Xpectrum are solely responsible for the content, metadata, and artwork associated with their collections. Xpectrum does not pre-screen creator content but reserves the right to delist collections that violate applicable law or platform policy.Platform fees
Xpectrum collects a 2.5% fee on primary mints and secondary sales. These fees are enforced on-chain by the Xcollection and Xmarket contracts and are non-negotiable.No warranties
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Xpectrum does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities. Smart contracts carry inherent risk. Review the contract source before transacting.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xpectrum is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost funds, lost NFTs, or failed transactions.Prohibited use
You may not use Xpectrum to:- Launder money or finance illegal activities
- Infringe third-party intellectual property rights
- Deploy contracts or collections designed to defraud buyers
- Attempt to exploit, manipulate, or disrupt the platform’s smart contracts
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Xpectrum reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.Privacy
Xpectrum does not require account registration. Your wallet address is your identity on the platform. On-chain activity is publicly visible by the nature of blockchain technology. Off-chain data we collect:- Whitelist data: wallet addresses submitted by creators for whitelist management are stored in Supabase as a display mirror. The authoritative record is always the on-chain Xlist contract.
- Usage analytics: standard web analytics (page views, session data) to understand platform usage. No personal data is sold or shared with third parties.
