Get a wallet
Xpectrum runs on Octra mainnet. You need 0xio, the Octra browser wallet.1
Install 0xio
Download 0xio from the Chrome Web Store. Create a new wallet or import one with your seed phrase. Your address starts with
oct.2
Fund it with OCT
You need OCT to pay gas, to mint, and to trade. Send it to your
oct address from wherever you hold it.3
Open the app
Go to app.xpectrum.xyz and connect your wallet. That’s it.
Two apps
Same wallet, same chain. Old
/launch links on the marketplace redirect to Creators.
What you can do
As a collector: browse collections, mint during active drops, buy and sell on the marketplace, place offers. As a creator: deploy a collection from Xpectrum Creators, configure your mint phases, manage your allowlist, reveal artwork, and collect proceeds on-chain. The launch guide walks the whole thing. Before you transact
Everything on Xpectrum runs on Octra mainnet, so every transaction spends real OCT and settles for good. There is no undo and no support desk that can reverse a transfer. Two habits worth keeping:- Check the network your wallet is on before you sign. An address is the same string across Octra networks, but balances and state are tracked separately, so a wallet pointed at the wrong network will not see the balance you expect.
- Read the transaction in the 0xio prompt before approving it. The amount and the destination contract are both shown there.
Mint proceeds and sale proceeds are pull-based: they are held by the contract and you claim them in a separate transaction rather than having them pushed to you at settlement. See Marketplace.
